This is a warning to everyone.




Do Not upload covers if you didn't make/scan them yourself or ask permission from the original author.




We have had warnings from other sites that their artwork is getting uploaded to our site. I'm sure most of you would not be happy if your work ended up on someone else's site without permission, so please respect others wishes and ask permission from the original artist before uploading here.









On a side note. Could I ask everyone to include in the file description whether your work is a custom or a scan. Some covers are so good it is giving our mods a hard time telling the difference! lol

... also pls stop uploading customs with red wii and 360 logo's .. these will never get accepted.

it's continually happening with my work...Marker's Covers and mine are been uploaded to Custom Covers website..without permission..also a member here (RADS) has also been taking elements of my work and then passing it off as his own...look up the "Dark Sector" covers...he stole my back plate...

and as I do exclusive covers for Console Cover there is absolutely no fear of me ripping other ppl work and posting it here...and if in doubt..PSD versions can be supplied as proof....I think it's disgusting practice..all the hard work that goes into these..for some1 to leech and destroy...

I think a 2wk ban should be put into practice for members here that have been caught uploading other ppl work..regarding what elements they have butchered...and if done more than twice..the member should get completely ban via the IP address..

I agree we need to stop this crap.

In my own defence, it is hard to keep track of which part of which covers belong to other artists. I hope you can understand this?

There is a 'report' button on every cover, if you submit a report saying what is stolen then I can take take the appropriate action.

I'll probably put together a shit-list that flags suspected stealer's in the pending section

No one more than me wants to stamp this fire out.

agreed mate..I will be doing a security run on all the top up loaders covers straight back down to my own work..and will report any stealing or butching done to those in question...and I shall continue to make Console Cover the no.1 choice for covers...a shit list a gr8 idea...I already know of two you add straight away "Radsey" and "Jackie" these two are rip'n'steal'n'false uploaders

thanx for the heads-up Greyfox™, noticed my work being uploaded to Custom Covers too, as i only make my labels for here (due mainly to knowing Marker for more years than either of us would care to mention) i find it damn annoying that someone is stealing them, think i'll go reg and complain to the Admins.

I've already done that over...they just credit the original cover creator but you don't get the credits as they have a credit point system over there....and they are extreme harsh when it comes you ranking your work too...over harsh if you ask me..that's why I don't bother submitting anymore over there..when there's a gr8 site right here...

you could be wasting your time...if there was a way to make you images self destruct after they where printed...it would be a better world...lol

after being accepted and forced to read their T&C's i see i'd be wasting my time in complaining. i don't want "posting credits", i get everything i need here, i'm just pissed someones been leeching my work and being praised for it without bothering to ask me if it was ok.

i see they stick an artists name in brackets next to the cover, but wonder if they doctor the label in any way to remove this sites name from the border text.

Daniel has been a huge 'poster' of my material since the start of this website. On the plus side, it's got me posting here now, so something good came of it. Although my respect for Daniel is absolutely zero.

...and wouldn't you know it, not 12 hours after writing this daniel (bizourne) has posted another of my covers with his name tagged to it...
